Saltillo.- The Government of Coahuila confirmed the rescue of the seventh and last worker who died trapped in the mine Micarán, located in the Rancherías ejido, which suffered a landslide last Friday.
With the miner’s recovery, identified as Juan Carlos “N”, the search work is concluded to begin the corresponding investigations to define responsibilities that will be carried out by the State Attorney General’s Office.

“Since the previous Friday that the accident was registered, specialized personnel from Coahuila and Nuevo León worked on the actions to drain the complex and ensure that the rescue bodies, made up of miners from companies in the Carboniferous region, entered the area where they were they located the workers, ”said the state government.
The walls of the mine collapsed before the rainwater that flooded the excavation where nine miners were, two of whom were able to get out alive.
