The Government of Panama approved the extension for two more months of the stay of 95 Cuban doctors who are helping the country’s health system to combat the advance of Covid-19.
Cabinet Resolution No. 68 of June 9, 2021 comes into effect at a time when a third wave of infections is beginning, with new outbreaks in various parts of the national territory.
This new addendum that extends the presence of Cuban doctors in Panama implies a cost of $ 394,408. The Havana mission arrived on December 24, 2020.
