They evacuate an injured man by helicopter in the Monte de Los Realejos

The Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands has reported that an operator who was working in the Piedra Pastores Zone, in the forest crown of the Los Realejos municipality, has been injured after a tree fell.

It’s about a 35 year old man that, at the initial moment of assistance, he had a moderate head injury. The wounded man has been transferred by medical ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service to Canary Islands University Hospital.

The rescuers of the GES helicopter got off the aircraft and lifted the affected person on a stretcher to the device to evacuate him to the Tenerife North airport.

Once on the ground, the staff of a medicalized ambulance from the SUC stabilized the injured worker and transferred him to the aforementioned hospital.

The National Police collaborated with the rest of the emergency resources and made the appropriate reports.
