Netflix has left for the end of Geek Week what is probably the juiciest novelty it had in store: the first trailer of the second season of ‘The Witcher’ centered on the character of Ciri played by Freya Allan.
Of course, those who were expecting great responses with this advance will be disappointed. The closest thing to this is what appears to be a secret message that has not yet been decrypted. We will have to be vigilant.
What Netflix has announced is the celebration of la WitcherCon next July 9, so I’m sure then we’ll have more news about what awaits us ahead in this second season of the series starring Henry Cavill. Something tells me that it will be then when we see a much more extensive trailer.

The cast of the second season of ‘The Witcher’ is joined by Yasen Atour, Agnes Bjorn, Paul Bullion, Thue Ersted Rasmussen, Aisha Fabienne Ross, Kristofer Hivju and Mecia Simson. I’m sure I’m not the only one wishing how their characters fit into the story of Geralt de Rivia (Cavill), Ciri (Allan) and Yennefer (Anya Chalotra).
At the moment there is no release date announced for the new episodes, but filming ended a couple of months ago, so there should not be many months to see the second season.
