A total of 916 people tested positive for covid-19 which increases the accumulated to 386,269, according to the epidemiological report of the Ministry of Health, today, Friday, June 11.
It is also reported 7 deaths, and 1 death is updated in the last hours, which brings the number of Covid victims to 6,427 accumulated, for a fatality of 1.7%.
To date, 12,855 tests have been applied, and a positivity percentage of 7.1% is maintained. The number of recovered patients increased to 371,015
Active cases to date total 8,827. In home isolation, 8,361 are reported, of which 7,962 are at home and 399 in hotels. There are 466 hospitalized and 402 of them are in the ward and 64 are in the ICU.
On the other hand, ehe Expanded Immunization Program (PAI) reports that in Panama 1,207,995 doses of the vaccine have been applied since last January against COVID-19, both from AstraZeneca and Pfizer throughout the Republic.

This week Panama completed an important vaccination process with the application of the first dose of AstraZeneca where men and women over 30 years of age attended the call of the National Government throughout the country.
Meanwhile, the regional San Miguelito 2,013 people received their dose of hope with the AstraZeneca vaccine, in the CBBG los Andes # 2 school campuses in the Corregimiento Omar Torrijos and Pedro J. Ameglio in Rufina Alfaro, during these three days a total of 5,794 doses have been applied.
The region of Panama Norte Reports that today 1550 doses were applied to the residents of Alcalde Díaz, Caimitillo, Chilibre, Ernesto Córdoba and Las Cumbres.
In Colón, 616 doses were applied, 276 of which were in the express car at the Enrique Jiménez Airport and 340 doses at the Carlos Clement Educational Center.
In the Metropolitan Health Region se applied 4,660 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine divided as follows 1,260 in the José Agustín School, 830 at the República de Chile School, 1,670 at the José Dolores Moscote Institute and 900 at Megamall.
