Pickup truck loaded with bales of alfalfa was consumed by fire in Ahome

Los Mochis, Sinaloa.- A truck that towed 250 bales of alfalfa was consumed by a fire yesterday at noon behind a motel at the junction at ejido floodgates, in the municipality of Ahome.

Losses from the incident were total. The accident report was at 2:20 p.m., when a call entered the 911 emergency service to inform them that the truck was burning in the indicated place and they needed firefighters.

The smoke eaters from the western base located in Infonavit Arboledas went to the scene of the events, but when they arrived the Veteran Firefighters were already there, who began to fight the flames.

Minutes later their water ran out and their colleagues helped them put out the fire, which in the end practically engulfed the truck, trailer and bales.

According to the information provided, the truck was traveling on a dirt road and the driver detected smoke in the unit. He stopped and called 911 for help, with the results already described.
