In June, LGBT pride month is celebrated around the world, this in commemoration of the riots that occurred on June 28, 1969 at the Stonewall Inn in New York in the United States.
Around the world, most companies join in this celebration of LGBT pride month, where at least they change their logo and place the rainbow flag, but what is the meaning of the flag that the LGBT community adopted?
Many of us may have this doubt at some point in our lives but children are also a large part of it, and it is for this reason that Nickelodeon released a video about the meaning of the rainbow flag representing the LGBT community.
This video stars the Drag queen Nina West, an activist, actor, singer and songwriter from Columbus Ohio who became famous internationally through the reality show RuPaul’s Drag Race, which although he did not win and took only sixth place, was very popular with the public.
Undoubtedly this is a success for the channel that not only joins the trend of simply changing its logo for a month, but is committed to clarifying the doubts that the little ones have and that even some parents could not know 100% the answer.
