Ambipar (AMBP3) announced on Thursday night, 10, the acquisition of Metal Ar Engenharia in a transaction without revealing the amounts involved. With the purchase, the company expands the services of management, movement and treatment of waste in the mining sector. This was the sixth acquisition announced by the company this year alone. Last year, when it went public at , four companies were totally or partially bought by Ambipar.
Bruno Lima, analyst at BTG Pactual Digital, says he sees with “very good eyes” the recent acquisitions made by the company. “Ambipar is consolidating itself more and more in this waste management market. Our perception is that the company is practically alone in this movement”, he said in Market opening this Friday, 11.
On the stock exchange, Ambipar’s shares rose 18% in a month, and since mid-March this year, the shares have already appreciated by more than 50%. Even with the strong appreciation, Lima still sees room for new highs. “Despite the rally, we see a very interesting internal rate of return even at this level of (32.09 reais per share),” he says.
According to the last report of recommendations coordinated by the analyst, the target price of the shares was 36.50 reais – suggesting an upside potential of 13.7%.
