Kate was with the first lady of the United States, Jill Biden, on a visit to a school in Hayle, Cornwall, this Friday. The meeting between Biden and the Duchess of Cambridge followed the reception of the G7 Leaders, in which the Dukes of Cambridge, Prince Charles, Camilla and the Queen will be present.
During the meeting, Kate was asked about the birth of her niece, Lili, daughter of Harry e Meghan. “I wish you the best and can’t wait to meet you. We haven’t met yet, I hope that will happen soon”, said the Duchess, cited by Hello! magazine.
Some images of this meeting between the Duchess and the First Lady were shared on the social networks of the Dukes of Cambridge. “It was fantastic to have Dr. Jill Biden and experts from the UK and US for a discussion on the importance of early childhood on lifelong outcomes and how we can work together to make a difference.”, it can be read.
“The importance of providing support for parents and children during early childhood and the positive impact this can have on society as a whole is something we share a great passion for”, it still reads.
