Conchita and her partner, Pablo Cebrián, had their first child in 2018
The singer suffered preeclampsia that kept her in a coma for three days
The youngest, who was born prematurely, had to spend 53 days in neonatology
Last February, Sara carbonero burst into tears during an interview with Conchita in which he presented his latest single. The journalist, very excited, explained that all those who are parents can feel identified with the story that he tells in ‘Trip’, his song, and that is why he could not help but remember his two sons, Martín and Lucas. But that trip goes much further and tries to relate how hard it was for Conchita to bring her son into the world, who was born prematurely three years ago and kept the artist three days in a coma.
It was in 2018 when the singer and his partner, Pablo CebriánThey decided to start a family with the birth of their first child. Although the first part of the pregnancy was successfully overcome, in the seventh month she suffered preeclampsia, a complication that leads to high blood pressure and can affect different organs. Because of this, the doctors decided to advance the delivery and that the baby was born prematurely two months earlier than expected. It was then that Conchita went into a coma for three days and his son, whom he affectionately calls “pigeon”, spent 53 days in neonatology.
The change in Conchita’s life due to motherhood
A new person came out of that hospital. Conchita reveals that motherhood, pre-eclampsia and everything she experienced has changed her way of seeing life. “You see everything differently and you enjoy life much more, of each detail. Even the problems all disappear at once and you realize that we make a world of problems that are not so serious, “he explained a few days ago at the Cadena 100 Awards held in Bilbao.
One of her most shocking confessions is the doubt she has had for a long time about not knowing if it was okay to bring her child “into this crazy world.” An idea that did not last long, since he considers that it was right and that it is “the best thing I have done in my life”. But the coma and fear for her son prevent her from being a mother again. “No, I will not have any more children. I’m scared of it”he told LOC in an interview.
