AMLO highlights rescue of miners in Coahuila, offers condolences to relatives

President Andrés Manul López Obrador revealed that last night the last of the seven miners who were trapped in the Múzquiz mine, Coahuila, was rescued.

During his morning press conference at the National Palace, AMLO sent his condolences to the families of the victims of said accident.

He also highlighted that: “Inform them that the seven miners who were trapped by the collapse of a mine in Múzquiz, Coahuila, were achieved. An accident, a dam broke and they were trapped for eight days. We gave instructions for the transfer, elements of the National Guard, Defense, the Secretary of Labor, the Director of Civil Protection, Economy, 150 hours were worked for the rescue ”.

López Obrador offered his solidarity to the families of the seven miners who died in the Rancherías mine, Coahuila. “We once again send our condolences to the family members and we will inform them.”

For its part, the Secretary of Security also regretted the loss and detailed that they worked together with the government of Coahuila more than 150 hours of work for the rescue.
