10 convicted of withholding and evasion of employer quotas

The Superior Anticorruption Discharge Prosecutor’s Office achieved a sentence for 10 people for cases of crimes against the economic order, in the form of withholding and evasion of employer worker quotas, so far in 2021.

Nine of these people were sentenced to 24 months in prison with accessory penalties of fines and disqualification from the exercise of public functions.

Article 241 of the Penal Code states that “the director, manager, administrator or legal representative that within three months, after the obligation to pay, withholds and does not remit the employee-employer fees to the Social Security Fund, always that these exceed B / 1,000.00, or whoever has requested by this entity for the release of the retention will be sanctioned with imprisonment of two to four years ”.
