The business group, headquartered in Zaragoza, has set itself the goal of increasing its turnover by 12% in 2021. A growth in which two of its main lines of activity will be decisive. In the 3D printing division it is expected to grow 70%, while in producting printing it estimates that it will double turnover.
Grupo Solitium maintains good prospects for this year 2021. The company -specialized in technological solutions and print management for SMEs, large companies and public administrations-, has set the goal of growing 12% in turnover in this year of 2021, according to have indicated company sources to the Economist
The group, which has a turnover of 100 million euros a year, has three specialized lines in Large Format, 3D Printing and Production Printing, all of which are expected to grow, although the biggest boost in activity is estimated to come from the latter two. “This last year the digital transformation has accelerated in all sectors and we have observed a certain rebound in the entire area of cybersecurity, hyperconvergence solutions, document management and IT solutions and services in general.”
In the 3D Printing area – it has incorporated new solutions from the main plastic powder printing manufacturers – the group has improved its growth target at the turnover level, and it is expected to triple the current figures.
In addition, the company estimates a 70% growth in sales in Large Format this year. A division in which they have also incorporated new white ink printing equipment to cover more applications, custom label and cardboard printing solutions to meet and respond to the growth of packaging. Also in its Production Printing line, billing is expected to double.
The plans also include the generation of more jobs. The group has not been immune to the economic crisis derived from the covid-19 pandemic although, being an essential services company, it has not stopped working. “Now we are working 100% and with the intention of continuing to grow, both in billing and in the client portfolio.”
The goal is to be able to return to pre-pandemic growth in terms of matters and employment and to strengthen the workforce, especially in the commercial department, already in the second half of this year and in the year 2022.
The group employs 650 people, of which 215 are in Zaragoza, the city where it has its headquarters. Precisely, Solitium SL is the parent company of the group and has just received the RSA (Social Responsibility of Aragon) from the Government of Aragon, which recognizes the company as socially responsible.
