The reactions after the discovery of the lifeless body of Olivia, one of the missing girls with her father in Tenerife, provoked a series of reactions at the political level and one of them was that of the Vox spokesperson in the Congress of Deputies, Iván Espinosa de los Monteros. “It is very difficult for a normal person to understand this … let alone for a parent”He explained in an interview on RTVE after hearing the news.

The search forces, specifically through the oceanographic vessel of the Spanish Institute of Oceanography ‘Ángeles Alvariño’, have found this Thursday the lifeless body of Olivia, the oldest of the missing girls in Tenerife. The body was found in a bag submerged in the sea. The Government Delegation has reported the finding. Both the little girls and their father, Tomás Gimeno, had been missing since last April 27.

Espinosa assured during the interview that Vox condemns “all violence”, whether it comes “from a man or from a woman.” To that of the Vox spokesperson, other condolences are added by the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, the leader of the PP, Pablo Casado, or the Minister of Equality, Irene Montero.
