A man refused to use a mask and entered the polling place to cast his vote without this sanitary measure, at the José María Arteaga Primary School, located in the Pueblo Mágico.

INE staff explained that the use of face masks is mandatory within the box, however, citizens who do not want to use this article cannot be denied their right to vote.

They also pointed out that all members of the polling place and representatives of political parties must wear face masks, as part of the protocol to prevent Covid-19 infections.

Even so, there are citizens who do not believe in this sanitary measure and reject the use of face masks.
