  • New DFB sponsorship deal
  • “Das Örtliche” becomes the new referee sponsor at the DFB
  • The logo of “Das Örtliche” will be emblazoned on the sleeves of the DFB referees from the 2021/2022 season

“Das Örtliche” becomes the new partner of the DFB referees

After the cooperation with the previous referee partner DEKRA ends on June 30, 2021, the DFB has found a successor – and that could hardly be more suitable. From July 1, 2021, the “Das Örtliche” telephone book will be the official partner of the DFB referees.

From the coming season, the logo of “Das Örtliche” will be emblazoned on the shirt sleeves of the DFB referees. The contract was initially concluded for three years and includes the Bundesliga, 2nd Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal, DFB-Cup final of women and the women’s Bundesliga.

DFB and “Das Örtliche” want to promote refereeing in Germany

The new partner will not only be involved in the “Referee of the Year” awards, but will also be involved in a joint campaign with the DFB to promote refereeing in Germany.

“We are very much looking forward to the cooperation and partnership. Our brand shares many values with the referees. It stands for reliability and objectivity towards users and advertisers. Just as the referees are partners and make sport possible, Das Örtliche cultivates the connections between users and advertisers and brings them together, ”explains Managing Director Dirk Schule.
