Catalan midfielder Álex Corredera has become CD Tenerife’s first signing for the 2021-2022 season, after having committed to the Blue and Whites until June 2024.
The club has reported that the hiring of the 25-year-old midfielder has occurred after an “intense negotiation period” addressed by the entity’s sports director, Juan Carlos Cordero.
CD Tenerife has highlighted that they incorporate one of the “most decisive” players last season in the Second Division B, where he played for CD Badajoz.
Formed in the lower categories of FC Barcelona, Alex Corredera arrives at La Liga SmartBank at the hands of CD Tenerife and with a coach, the case of Luis Miguel Ramis, who made him debut in the silver category of Spanish football when the Girona medium formed part of the UD Almería subsidiary.
After that stay in Almeria, Álex Corredera began the consolidation process in the Second Division B, passing through clubs such as Real Murcia, Valencia Mestalla and CD Badajoz.
With the Badajoz squad he played the qualifying rounds for promotion to LaLiga SmartBank in both the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 seasons.
