The 1 of TVE has signed its historical minimum (8.2%) audience, according to the balance made public this Tuesday, which again places Telecinco in the lead for 33 consecutive month already Antena 3 with the best May of the last twelve years. In addition, the audience for regional channels, with 8.4% screen share, has for the first time exceeded that of the first public entity channel.

These are some data offered by Barlovento’s May analysis of television audiences, in which Telecinco obtains a screen share of 15.2%, although it drops one point compared to April.

Antena 3 is in second place with 14% (it goes up two tenths) and the themes get the third with 8.9%, the same percentage as in April, when they ousted La 1.

They are followed by LaSexta (6.5%, one tenth less than in April), Cuatro (5.4%, three tenths more), La 2 (2.8%) and Nova (2.5%), both with the same results than in the previous analysis, and FDF (2.4%, one tenth more)

By communication groups, Mediaset occupies the first position in the classification, with 28.3% (six tenths less than in April); Atresmedia, in second position, obtains 27.6% (three tenths more), and RTVE repeats its historical minimum with 13.7%, while Forta reaches 8.3% (+0.2), Grupo Vocento the 2.3% (the same result) and Editorial Unit 2.8% (+0.1).

The two main communication groups (Mediaset and Atresmedia) concentrate 55.9% of the audience market (- 0.3).

Eurovision voting, the most watched broadcast

The Most viewed broadcast of the month is for the Eurovision: Voting on the 22nd, with 4,515,000 viewers, 34.1%.

Tweets about television programs totaled 10.5 million in May and the ranking of networks by number of tweets is headed by Telecinco (52% of the total), La 1 (16.9%) and Mega (8.4%).
