Because instead of working, Chris prefers to turn crooked things. “I need quick money, not slow money,” he says. He has already spent seven years of his life behind bars because of break-ins – even he would not be surprised if this would get worse soon.

Because in the new episode of “Poor Germany – stamping or racking up?” (Tuesday evening, June 1, 2021, 8.15 p.m. on RTLZWEI and on demand on TVNOW), Chris is once again in the dock in the court. The charge this time: fraud.

He says, “I screwed up on Ebay. Selling things, not sending them off. ”He stole several thousand euros in this way. Also with other tricks.

For example, he had also sold a cell phone on the Internet, but when the buyer opened the package, he only found a pack of Haribo in it.

Before the trial, Chris is confident. “Testimony against testimony,” he says. Maybe that’s why he’s so relaxed because he smoked a joint shortly before the court appointment. “Now I’ll have a smoke first, so that I can absorb it a little more comfortably than sitting there nervous and sweaty,” he says.

In the negotiation he then denies everything – and his plan works for the time being. Since the witness was not summoned, the hearing is adjourned.

Laughing, Chris and his mother Iris (57) talk about the gummy bears that the mobile phone buyer only found in the package. Mother Iris naively believes in her son’s innocence.

Alone with the camera team, however, he then admits: “Of course I did. But as you can see: There is no evidence.” According to his own statement, he then sold the cell phone in a buying and selling shop. For around 500 euros.

Three months later, there is still no verdict, Chris assumes that the case will be dropped. And he’s already planning the next coup.

The protagonist from “Poor Germany” wants to grow cannabis in an apartment

In the apartment he has recently moved into (and which is paid for by the office), cannabis was grown by the previous tenants until the police showed up. And that’s exactly what Chris wants to continue with. He also hopes to find drugs or money hidden behind a few wooden beams. “Around 100,000 are already feasible,” he says. But the whole thing remains a dream. At least in front of the camera he finds neither drugs nor money. His conclusion: “Now I’ve screwed up!”

But he still has the idea of growing drugs himself. He doesn’t care that it’s a crime. “Nobody sees it,” he says and smiles into the camera. The address of the apartment should be known to the police from the earlier raid … (sku)
