The candidates for mayor of Saltillo pointed out that the work of the Saltillo rural men and women will continue to be essential, so from their point of view they pointed out that, if they win the elections, they will promote job creation in the Saltillo ejidos.

José María Fraustro Siller, candidate of the PRI-PRD coalition, said that in his municipal administration he will provide real support to the countryside to make it more productive and improve the quality of life of families living in the rural area of the municipality.

“I have 40 years of experience in public service and in many of them I have worked in rural areas, be it in potable water works, education in rural areas, security and support for producers. I have a word and I am going to keep it, ”stressed the PRI candidate.

He explained that the most important commitments that he has made with the field are the reactivation of water wells in ejidos, clearing of water troughs, provision of solar panels and installation of cellular communication antennas.

In addition, together with the Government of Coahuila, it promised to improve the health system through mobile units and design a low-cost drug program.

Fraustro Siller pointed out that to make the Saltillo countryside more productive, he will promote the financing of agricultural projects and a program to improve rural roads will be launched, with the participation of the rural inhabitants, within a temporary employment program.

“I have a work plan that we designed with the opinion of farmers and specialists, but that we have enriched with the opinion of all the ejidos that we have visited in this campaign. I will be a mayor who listens to the field, commits himself and complies ”, he assured.

Armando Guadiana Tijerina, Morena’s aspirant, considered that the work of rural people is essential for the agri-food sustenance of any population.

“We are convinced of the vital importance of the combination between the need to continue with the development of the field, as well as the urban sector, so much so that we are going to promote a program of planting community gardens in the urban and rural sectors for the car. livelihood of the inhabitants of the marginalized colonies in Saltillo ”, he stressed.

But also, he added, vital services will be brought to citizens living in the same areas, such as: itinerant medical units, internet, psychological support and, of course, municipal primary services.

“The policy of ‘good living’ in which we believe advocates putting the human being at the center of public policies; Therefore, what matters is that all the inhabitants of Saltillo, both in rural and urban areas, can satisfy their basic needs such as: food, clothing, housing, among others, so that once they are satisfied, they can dedicate themselves to what is most important to them. Like it, whatever makes them happy ”, explained Guadiana Tijerina.

“We maintain that each person, once redeeming those basic needs, will be able to develop in the activity they want, somewhat different from how it is currently carried out, where people have to dedicate themselves to activities that give them an economic support out of necessity, and not really what moves them from day to day ”, he pointed out.

Tere Romo, a PAN candidate, did not answer the same questions, although they were asked through her campaign team.
