Vizzotti hopes that this week the results of the restrictions will be seen

The Minister of Health, Carla Vizzotti, said today that this week “we will begin to see the result of the intensive care measures”, which were applied throughout the country since Saturday of last week and conclude this Sunday, to mitigate the rise in coronavirus cases in the frame of the second wave.

The official formulated these concepts in a press conference that she gives at the Ezeiza airport together with the presidential advisor Cecilia Nicolini, after arriving from Cuba, where they learned about the progress in the development of vaccines against the coronavirus Soberana02 and Abdala.

Vizzotti also stressed that the country already has “more than 9 million people vaccinated” with one dose and was confident that with the arrival of new vaccines this week, the population can be immunized “as quickly as possible”, at the same time who again requested that circulation be reduced to reduce coronavirus infections.
