180 schools will open their doors tomorrow in Coahuila: Riquelme

Saltillo, Coahuila.- This Monday, May 31, thanks to the work of the union sections, the Specialized Work Table for the return to classes, the Regional Health Subcommittees and in general all the participants of the sector, 180 schools of basic education will open its doors to students within the second stage of the Back to School Pilot Plan in Coahuila.

This was reported by Governor Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís when mentioning that within the first stage of the plan, the 70 schools that restarted face-to-face activities reported a good response from students and parents.

The work, disposition and strategy of the workers incorporated to the different educational sections was basic, he highlighted, who with their participation allow this Pilot Plan to be successfully implemented, which will incorporate more schools as of tomorrow.

Governor Miguel Riquelme stated that at the end of the first week of the Pilot Plan, the education sector described the process of reactivation of school attendance as good, so the decision was made to open 110 more schools for the second stage, which begins tomorrow, April 31. May.

“In Coahuila, the education sector has been very responsible and supportive of the actions that have been taken derived from the Covid-19 pandemic, and in this return to face-to-face classes we have started well and we are sure that, gradually, we will be able to go opening schools of all levels, always prioritizing the health of students and teachers ”, he assured.
