GNR apprehends 8 kilos of hidden hashish along a forest path in Loulé

The National Republican Guard (GNR) found, on Friday, a package with about eight kilograms of hashish that was hidden near a forest path, in the municipality of Loulé, in the district of Faro, was announced today.

The drug was detected during a military patrol action at the Salir post, as part of the Safe Forest campaign, “disguised in a cluster of stones”, the force specified in a statement.

According to the GNR, “inside the package, with about eight kilograms, were several packages with the narcotic product, an amount sufficient to produce about 15,800 doses.”

The case was referred to the Judicial Court of Loulé.
