'El Mijis' is transferred to a hospital for possible diabetic coma

Various media today announce that while he was on a hunger strike in the capital’s Zócalo, Deputy Pedro Carrizales, alias “El Mijis”, suffered a diabetic coma, for which he was transferred to the hospital.

On Thursday “El Mijis”, Bryan LeBarón and Itzel Perea began a hunger strike in front of the National Palace, to request the release of Manuel Germán Ramírez Valdovinos, they continue in the Zócalo.

Let us remember that Ramírez Valdovinos has been held in the Santiaguito prison since 2000, accused of committing an alleged homicide in the municipality of Acolman in the State of Mexico.

The protesters set up a tent with a blanket that says “We are hungry … but for justice” and assured that they will remain seated in front of the enclosure, waiting to be heard by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
