Another disappointment … Pablo Montero changes the lyrics of the National Anthem in the final of the Liga Mx

One of the long-awaited moments for the female fans of the Santos Laguna Club on Thursday night was to see Pablo Montero singing the National Anthem dressed in his charro suit. The event marked the beginning of the game, and on social networks when the Also actor changed the lyrics caused a wave of chifletas, laughter and some claims and memes on social networks.

The Corona Stadium resounded with emotion, fanaticism and the expected duel between Cruz Azul and the Coahuilense team, when the ceremony and the protocols prior to the final of Guard1anes 2021 of the Liga Mx began.

As at every start of the game, the National Anthem would be sung with respect and joy. For this, the actor and singer originally from Torreón was called by the board, however, no one expected that it would be a laughter and patriotic moment.

It was possible to witness or follow from television the moment when Montero began to make mistakes, probably due to the nerves or excitement of seeing a fans back in their seats supporting the legendary home team.

One of the most obvious moments was when he sang “your eternal destiny on his finger”, when the original lyrics say “in heaven your eternal destiny.”

Other mistakes were when he passionately sang his version with the wrong phrases “girdle oh homeland” and “I think homeland.”

Apparently the annoyance of the fans was not much since Montero came out amid applause and some whistles, while in social networks you can see videos of his foolish participation with the national flag.
