The two countries that follow in weekly cases are Latin American: Brazil (451,000 cases, 3%) and Argentina (213,000, 41% more), which already suffers more weekly infections than the United States (188,000, a decrease of 20%) .

The fifth most affected country is currently Colombia, with 107,000 cases reported last week, an increase of 7%.

In the global vaccination campaign, 1,700 million doses have already been administered on the planet, being China the country that has inoculated the most (520 million), followed by USA (280 million) India (190 million) and UK (60 million).

In the European Union, more than 220 million doses have been administered, according to data provided by national health networks.
