A man, about 45 years old, was seriously injured this Wednesday after suffering a fall from a height in the Sabinar table, Anaga, as confirmed by the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands.
The man presented various traumas, for which he was transferred in a basic life support ambulance to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands.
The GES helicopter located the injured person and after rescuing and immobilizing him, transferred him to Tenerife North Airport. There an ambulance from the SUC was waiting for him, whose staff assisted the wounded man and finally evacuated him to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands.
Firefighters from the Consortium and the Natural Environment Unit collaborated with the emergency services.
