From this one Wednesday, May 26 Madrilenians can choose day and time to get vaccinated against Covid-19 in mass vaccination centers: the WiZink Center and in the stadium Wanda Metropolitano.
The Community of Madrid has launched a new self-citation system to receive the vaccine. The first to use this system from May 26 will be Madrid between 57 and 67 years old, that is, those born between 1954 and 1964. All of them will receive doses of Pfizer O Janssen.
In total 150,000 people from Madrid will be able to choose the day and time that suits them best to get vaccinated. The first appointment that the system will offer, which will be active from this Wednesday, will be the Saturday 29 May.
How to make an appointment?
There are of the forms:
1. Through the mobile application of the Virtual Health Card, available on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android). Not to be confused with the Salud Madrid application.
This service must be activated by calling 900 102 112 and marking the option 6. It is important that the health card is linked to a mobile phone -That is, when the GP calls you if you do it on your mobile you can continue, if you do it on the landline no-.
If it is linked to a mobile and after answering several questions, you will receive an SMS with an activation code that you must enter in the Virtual Health Card application next to the CIPA (Autonomous Personal Identification Code), which are the last numbers of the health card.
Important: If your card is linked to a landline, you must change it to a mobile phone near the health center or on this website if you have a digital certificate.
2. Through the website www.comunidaddemadrid / covid-19.
As in the previous option, you must enter the CIPA, el DAYS / NO or passport and the date of birth.
Choose day and time
Once inside the application or the website of the Community of Madrid, and if you belong to the vaccination age group, you can choose the day, time and place to be vaccinated.
The system checks if the user is registered in the population repository of the databases of the Community of Madrid. In the same way, it is verified that the patient does not have any vaccine registered in the Unique Vaccination Registry.
Once the appointment has been chosen, you will receive a Verification code through an SMS system to proceed with its confirmation. Confirmed and the summons will appear on the screen a QR code that you will need to take with you to teach it at the vaccination center.
24 hours before being vaccinated, you will receive, as a reminder, an SMS with the citation information and that QR code.
If there is no appointment, do I run out of vaccine?
An appointment will only be made by this system to 2,000 people daily, 1,000 in each of the enclosures. It is a small number since it is a pilot project.
The rest of citizens aged 57 to 67 who cannot book an appointment through this system will be summoned via SMS and will receive the vaccine at mass vaccination points (WiZink, Wanda and Hospital Nurse Isabel Zendal) and in public hospitals.
What if I am not in the database?
If any person accessing this system is not in the database and cannot self-cite, they should call the 900 102 112, where they will collect your data and transfer this information to the Madrid health service for verification in the municipal register and the rest of the information bases of the Community of Madrid.
