Lindsay Lohan returns to the cinema with a romantic comedy for Netflix

In recent years, Lindsay Lohan has moved away from acting, beyond his role in the British series Sick leave or his passage through the movie Among the Shadows. However, after closing the beach bar he had in Mykonos, The actress has decided to return to acting and is going to star in a romantic comedy for Netflix.

This Monday, the VOD platform has announced that Lohan will be the protagonist of his new project, which will focus in a rich heiress who, amnesic after a ski accident, must allow herself to be helped by the owner of a hostel at Christmas.

“Lindsay Lohan will star in a new romantic comedy about a newly engaged hotel heiress who ends up being cared for by the handsome, humble inn owner and his precocious daughter after suffering amnesia from a ski accident. ”

This untitled romantic comedy will be directed by Janeen Damian, who also signs the script with Michael Damian, Jeff Bonnett y Ron Oliver. At the moment, no other cast member has been confirmed or more details have been given about the project, although, according to reports Variety, it will be about a Christmas movie that will begin shooting in November, so it will probably be released in late 2021.

Let’s remember that Lohan knows the ‘rom-com’ genre well, in which she has starred in titles such as Give me back my luck, with Chris Pine, O An embarrassing job.
