A new flight left for Russia in search of more Sputnik V

The seventeenth flight of Aerolineas Argentinas left at dawn on Tuesday for Moscow in search of more doses of Sputnik V vaccines.

The Airbus 330-200, registration LV-GIF, under the number AR1062 took off at 1.59 from Ezeiza international airport and will arrive at Sheremetievo International Airport at 18 Argentine time.

The return, under the number AR1063, is scheduled for around 10:30 p.m. in Argentina, and the arrival at the Ezeiza International Airport will be at around 4.30 pm on Wednesday.

Another Aerolineas Argentinas flight from Moscow arrived in Ezeiza this Monday at 6:20 p.m. with 609,965 doses of the first component of Sputnik V vaccines.

Aerolineas Argentinas has made 16 flights to the Russian Federation in which a total of 7,643,255 doses were transferred and, in addition, 5 flights were made to Beijing, People’s Republic of China in which 3,659,200 of Sinopharm vaccines arrived in the country .

In this way, In 20 completed flights, Aerolineas Argentinas provided 11,302,455 doses of vaccines against Covid-19.

More than 1,400,000 vaccines in one day

This Monday 1,453,565 vaccines arrived in the country: a consignment of 843,600 doses of AstraZeneca arrived this Monday afternoon at the Ezeiza international airport, from the United States on a cargo flight of the Latam company, and minutes later the Aerolineas plane landed, with 609,965 Sputnik V.

Flight UC1101 landed at 6:40 p.m., via Miami, with the first game of the vaccine contract with AstraZeneca, the active ingredient of which was produced in Argentina.

Also, the sixteenth Aerolineas Argentinas flight arrived from Moscow with a new batch of Sputnik V vaccines. The Airbus 330-200 aircraft, under flight number AR1061, touched down at 6:52 p.m. with 609,965 doses of component 1 of the Russian vaccine.

These new doses will allow continuity to the vaccination plan that the Government implemented throughout the country in the framework of the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to data from the Public Vaccination Monitor, the online registry that shows in real time the immunization operation throughout the Argentine territory, Until this morning, 12,612,752 vaccines were distributed, of which 11,149,468 have already been applied: 8,735,231 people received the first dose and 2,414,237 both.

In 28 flights, Argentina received 14,355,710 doses. Sputnik V, AstraZenecca, Sinopharm and Covishield vaccines arrived. Of the total, 6,585,550 are from component 1 of the Gamaleya Institute and 4 million from the one made in China.
