A 41-year-old man has suffered serious injuries after falling with his vehicle down a slope in the Mirador de Picacho, located in the municipality of Candelaria, as confirmed by the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES) 1-1 -2 from the Government of the Canary Islands, which received the alert for the event at 5:56 p.m.
A GES helicopter, with the collaboration of Tenerife Firefighters, rescued the wounded man, who had been located by the Consortium troops, and after being immobilized, he transferred them to Tenerife North Airport. There a medicalized ambulance from the SUC was waiting for him, whose staff assisted the wounded man and evacuated him to the Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria.
The Local Police and the Civil Guard instructed the corresponding procedures and collaborated with the emergency services
