Users of the Los Cristianos Senior Residence, managed by the Arona City Council, are the protagonists of a emotional video with which they ask the entire population for a “last push” to fight COVID-19. Once vaccinated with the double guideline, they wanted to send a message appealing to everyone’s responsibility to respect health measures, “because if you take care of yourself, you take care of us all.”
Thus, through short messages, both the elders of the Los Cristianos Residence and their workers remember the importance of wearing the mask correctly, continuing to wash their hands and use the hydroalcoholic gel, in addition to not smoking and respecting quarantine, even if there are no symptoms, because, as our elders say, “don’t cheat, because we all pay for those cheats.”
The video has been promoted by Adesa, the public company of the Arona City Council that manages social resources. “Now that we are in the final stretch, we must not loosen up in the fight against the coronavirus,” said the mayor of Arona, José Julián Mena, who applauded the action and behavior of the users of the residence. “We are reaching the end and our elders are clear, we must not lower our guard,” he said.
