According to a survey carried out by VANGUARDIA, the ideal Saltillo in 20 years is safer and with more development opportunities for its inhabitants.
VANGDATA, the data analysis department of this medium, carried out the exercise in which it asked inhabitants of the capital of Coahuila: how do you imagine the ideal Saltillo in 20 years?
The most recurrent answer, with 25 percent of the results, was “safer”; followed by “with more development opportunities”, with 19 percent; and with “better infrastructure, roads”, with 18 percent.
Specifically in terms of security, the ideal Saltillo in 20 years is a city in which its police elements guarantee the protection of human rights of the population.
When asked: what would you like to see in Saltillo in 20 years in terms of security? 65 percent of those interviewed indicated the above; while 28 percent contemplated a “more efficient emergency line”; and five percent a “greater number of patrols.”

The VANGADATA poll also considered the question: in 20 years, what would you like to see said about Saltillo in other parts of the country?
With 25 percent of the responses, “it is the best city to live in” ranked first; ahead of “is the safest city in the country”, with 20 percent; and “it is the best city for children and adolescents to grow up and study” and “it is a clean city”, with 18 percent each.
