The Buenos Aires Revenue Agency (ARBA) will stop applying Gross Income withholdings, suspend embargoes and implement a special payment plan for the sectors most affected by the pandemic, within the framework of the new measures of economic support and tax assistance announced by the governor Axel Kicillof.

In order to help the most affected sectors within the framework of the restrictions established until May 31 to minimize coronavirus infections, Gross Income withholdings will not be applied to theaters and movie complexes; discos and party rooms; restaurants and bars in closed spaces; sports establishments; kindergartens and child development care centers.

Kicillof also said that the Covid-19 Payment Plan will be relaunched to regularize tax debts due from January 1 to August 31, 2021 from taxes on gross income, basic real estate and motor vehicles and that judicial liens will be suspended until August .

In addition, he stressed that the Economic Sustainability Program for activities affected by the pandemic for micro and small productive units will be strengthened by two billion pesos and announced that the Preserve Work program will be expanded, eliminating the incompatibility with the ATP for the activities most affected.
