When Ana Obregón began to overcome the loss of her son, Aless Lequio, who died just over a year ago, the actress and presenter received another blow. His mother, Ana Obregón Navarro, from whom he took his stage name, died this Saturday at the age of 95. Last April she was hospitalized in a Madrid clinic and days later she was discharged to finish recovering at home, but in the end she has not been able to do so.
Married to businessman Antonio García Fernández, the actress’s mother formed a large family of five children (Amalia, Celia, Javier and Juancho, in addition to the popular Ana), eleven grandchildren and a great-grandson who have always been by her side. Precisely on April 19, Ana Obregón celebrated that her mother had been discharged by publishing a video on her Instagram account of how the reunion of her parents had been, married for almost seven decades. “Today tears come to my eyes with emotion, not only because you are back home, Mom (you are a champion), but also because of that infinite love of almost 67 years between you and Dad,” he wrote then.
Ana María Obregón Navarro was the daughter of Carmen Rubio Arrabal and the famous businessman Juan Obregón Toledo. She married Antonio García Fernández shortly after meeting and together they set up their first real estate company. Their success in business allowed them to invest in various pieces of land, including a large plot of land to build a house for each of their five children.
