Fluted: "A return to Phase 1 may seem reasonable, but it needs complementary measures"

The legislator Jose Maria Canelada (UCR-Juntos por el Cambio) requested that the provincial government advance with measures to contain the sectors most affected by the new restrictions ordered by the president Alberto Fernandez. Among them, the radical mentioned as priorities the gastronomic sectors, small and medium businesses and SMEs.

“The decree of adhesion of the governor Juan Manzur it has to include rescue measures for the sectors most affected. Forgiveness of tax debts and public services, in addition to direct assistance for workers, are essential actions to support those who are in a situation of bankruptcy, ”said Canelada.

In this sense, the radical analyzed the scope of the new national DNU announced by the President.

“The return to Phase 1, which may seem reasonable given the data on infections and deaths, needs complementary measures to ensure that the restrictions are complied with and do not further harm sectors that have been suffering from the advance of the virus and the inability of officials . There is a battery of measures that we have been proposing since last year, it is time to apply them ”, insisted the radical leader.

Canelada recalled that in the Legislature there are projects pending debate related to tax benefits, tax exemptions and state contributions. “It is time to add and think of different solutions for an unprecedented reality. We can divide opinions on the management of the pandemic, but it is clear that we must all contribute solutions to attend to those who are falling off the map, “he said.
