The Tucumana Soccer League suspended tournaments for 15 days

The Tucumana Football League confirmed tonight the suspension for 15 days of the First Division tournaments (Categories A and B) after the measures announced by the Emergency Executive Committee (COE) due to the coronavirus outbreaks that were detected in some areas of Tucuman.

The institution indicated that the decision was made taking into account Health Resolution 75/202 issued by the Government, which prohibits sporting events for 15 days in five departments of the province.

The organizers said that the measure was implemented because “some of our affiliated clubs are within the departments isolated by the COE, which implies an obstacle to the normal development of our domestic tournaments, committing ourselves and adapting to the new sanitary restrictions.”

“We decided to reschedule our championships so that they comply with the isolation protocol established in order to protect the health of athletes, coaching staff and collaborators in general,” they sentenced.
