Torreón, Coahuila. – Scholarships and support for public transport will be allocated to low-income students during the Roman Alberto Cepeda Administration, in addition to having the opportunity to receive advice and training on projects through the Institute of Entrepreneurship for Women and Youth.

This Tuesday, the PRI candidate for mayor of Torreón, Román Alberto Cepeda, met with students from the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Coahuila, and with medical personnel from the Health Sector, who requested different support for when he is Municipal President of this city.

The medical students asked for support to carry out health fairs in remote communities of Torreón, in addition to greater police surveillance in the places where they carry out their social service, because due to the insecurity that prevails, their physical integrity is at risk.

The students also asked for various supports to complete their studies, since they have not had a response to their scholarship requests from the Federal Government, so many have to dedicate themselves to work instead of focusing on their careers.

The candidate recognized the effort of the students to complete their studies despite the adversities that many face, “no one has it easy, no matter where you are or where you are from, the essential thing is to move forward with will. Yes, I have programs contemplated and scholarships, scholarships and transportation support will be a reality, as well as the Institute of Entrepreneurship for Women and Youth “, said the candidate.
