MEXICO CITY.- A 72-year-old man identified as Andrés “N” was detained by the Police of the municipality of Atizapán de Zaragoza, in the State of Mexico, accused of committing femicide against his sentimental partner.
Last Saturday, around 8:00 p.m., the municipal police officers went to the home of Andrés “N” to interview him about the disappearance of the woman and, upon entering the property, the agents discovered human remains of a female body on a table .
Police reports indicate that at noon this Friday, Andrés “N “‘s partner entered his home in the Lomas de San Miguel neighborhood, in said municipality.
There they would have had an argument, because the woman no longer wanted to have any kind of romantic relationship with him. Andrés’s reaction was allegedly violent and, apparently, he attacked her with a knife and began to cut up the body of the victim with a machete and a knife, to later put her in plastic bags and throw the remains away.
