Saltillo, Coahuila, May 16, 2021.- The PRI candidate for mayor of Saltillo, Chema Fraustro, said that his government will work to provide security, development opportunities and a better quality of life for rural and city women.
During his work tour through the Saltillo countryside, Fraustro Siller indicated that his project has specific actions with concrete actions to support women.
The creation of children’s homes, credits for entrepreneurs, training programs for professional development and comprehensive support are part of the strategies to promote their economic development.
In terms of security, Chema Fraustro pointed out that his government will not tolerate violence against women, therefore it will strengthen the police forces, create a Comprehensive Care System for Women and a refuge for the protection of those who have been violated and their children.
Accompanied by the candidate for federal deputy for the seventh district, Jaime Bueno Zertuche, the standard-bearer for the mayor of Saltillo indicated that he will team up with Governor Miguel Riquelme and federal deputies to bring more resources to Saltillo focused on women.
“My commitment will be to support them from the Municipal Presidency and protect them in every way, because women deserve all our respect and have equal opportunities,” he stressed.
“I have the experience and training to do it, since as Secretary of Government, I promoted the operation of the justice centers for women in the state, and in which they helped in their empowerment so that they and their children have a better and a more dignified future ”, said Chema Fraustro.
