Puebla.- The overturning of a passenger bus in Puebla left six dead and 24 injured.
The accident occurred on Saturday afternoon on the Puebla-Huajuapan de Léon federal highway, near the municipality of Izúcar de Matamoros.
Survivors narrated that the rollover was caused by a drunken subject who, after approaching the driver, tried to take control of the steering wheel.
It was because of the struggle that the driver lost control and the Gold Line bus went off the road until it was on its right side.
Some of the passengers managed to get out of the unit on their own feet and helped others while emergency services arrived.
Humberto N., identified as the passenger who caused the accident, was arrested and transferred to the Izúcar de Matamoros Regional Prosecutor’s Office to determine his responsibility for the incident.
It was recently reported that the probable cause of the tragedy would have hanged himself with his shirt.
