Scandal for "salary refunds": Regidor appeared in court

The national deputy for Corrientes (UCR-Together for Change) Estela Regidor She was finally presented before the provincial federal justice after the scandal that generated an audio in which she is heard requesting possible salary returns from her advisers. The block of Deputies of the Frente de Todos hopes that Together for Change will ask the legislator to resign, just as the ruling party did at the time with Juan Ameri from Salta for having inappropriate behavior during a session that they carried out by videoconference.

“Your receipt in hand says 80; well, you have 40 left and you put 40 in my savings,” the legislator was heard saying in the audio. “That this situation be elucidated as soon as possible to give peace of mind to my community,” the Councilor now raised in his judicial defense.

The legislator of Juntos por el Cambio appeared with her lawyer Julio Leguizamón before the federal judge of first instance of Corrientes Juan Carlos Vallejos, before whom she formalized the delivery of a document in which she made herself available for the investigation of the denounced situation for alleged refunds and hiring in black. “They do not hire in black as I do,” says the legislator Cambodia in another section of the audio to highlight that other deputies are asking for “donations.”

“I appear before these stages in the conviction that they will be put in motion jurisdictional in order to elucidate in this area the truth or falsity of the events that were reported journalistically and that have me as the main protagonist,” Regidor said in the letter.

After the audios were viralized by social networks, the national deputy requested a license without diet last Monday and for a term of 90 days before the parliamentary body.
