1.-Pablo Picasso: A primitive soul

The story of the Andalusian artist whose artistic appetite was insatiable is in this one and a half hour film document. Thanks to this history, it is appreciated that although Picasso lived outside of Spain, Spain was always present in him and in his work.

2.-The Sinsombrero

An extemporaneous, but necessary recognition is that it is made to eight Spanish women who belonged to the Generation of 27 and who despite their talent, were not recognized in their time.

Women who break the mold, transgressors and brave whose work stood out in poetry, writing, painting and other disciplines.

3.- Louise Bourgeois- Spiderwoman

The story of the French sculptor who turned to trauma, fear, anger and even her own secrets as a tool for her work. Few artists have been as honest as she when it comes to showing themselves. The Spiderwoman thing is in reference to her spider-shaped sculptures. The only detail is that it is in English without subtitles.

4.-Mary Cassatt-Documentary

Another documentary that is in English without subtitles -a great alternative to practice-, this one takes us into the life and work of the North American artist who made impressionist paintings. His work was extensive, and went through several phases, but images of the social and private life of women, maternity wards, and other paintings where the presence of the figure is almost always highlighted in his production.

5.-Remedios Varo

Thanks to this video document we can enter the life of the Hispanic-Mexican painter Remedios Varo, surrealist artist, writer and graphic artist. Considered a woman ahead of her time, she lived during the hectic times of the 20th century.
