Keep. – In recent days, complaints about water shortages have intensified in the campaign tours carried out by the PRI candidate for mayor of Torreón, Román Alberto Cepeda, who pointed out that in his government the maintenance of the wells will be a priority. drinking water and attention to the city’s hydraulic network.

He added that housewives, merchants and businessmen have told him the negative consequences they face in their homes, businesses and companies, due to the shortage of drinking water.

“It affects everything and they have not understood it, and today unfortunately they want to resolve issues that were forgotten for four years, which are not problems that are resolved in the remaining 28 days of the campaign and it is unfortunate,” he said.

“It is a problem of citizens, of businesses, but it is a problem of industries too, I mentioned it, today jobs are needed, there is a serious employment problem caused, one by the pandemic, and another by the neglect of the administration municipal, and it is very important to point it out: how can we offer or how can we bring companies or industries if we don’t have water, much less for human consumption, or for the businesses that are complaining today? “

The candidate mentioned that his Government will technically and financially rescue the Municipal Potable Water and Sewerage System, because in the last four years the current Administration stopped maintaining supply sources.

“There is a problem and there is a person in charge, when you are hired to be in charge of any administration, to take the reins, you are responsible for what happens in every way; today you have to be very attentive because we cannot continue like this We cannot put Torreón where we want without water, without energy, without image, without cleaning, and without security, “he stressed.

Roman Alberto Cepeda said that his Government will meet this demand from Torreonenses so that they have the vital liquid 24 hours a day.

He assured that it can and has been done, because during the PRI municipal administration headed by the current Governor of Coahuila, the engineer Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís, 27 new wells were drilled, which together injected more than 2,100 liters per second into the network of drinking water, and that benefited more than 650 thousand inhabitants of Torreón.

The candidate said that in his Government the operation, administration and efficiency of the Municipal System of Potable Water and Sewerage will be attended immediately to give answers to the citizens until the issue is fully resolved.
