As reported by the Essen police, the two thieves rang the doorbell of the 85-year-old woman from Essen on Friday afternoon (May 7th) and claimed that they were water workers.

The elderly woman unsuspectingly let the two men into her apartment. While one of the men got to work on the dishwasher, the other man sneaked into the woman’s living room.

There he opened a chest of drawers and stole an old pacemaker from one of the drawers.

Then the two men left the woman’s apartment. When the elderly woman noticed the theft, she alerted the police. This is now looking for the perpetrators.
