New record of vaccines administered in Spain: 573,014 doses in one day

The vaccine report published this Thursday by Health confirms that a total of 18,489,580 doses have already been administered, which represents a new daily record: 573,014 doses in just 24 hours.

According to the Health data, the number of people who have received the complete guideline now rises to 5,696,827 (12% of the population). But there are already 12,966,552 (27.3% of the population) who have received at least one dose.

By segmenting Among those over 60 years (12.1 million people), there are already 9.8 million who have received at least one dose (81.3%) and 4.3 million those who have received the complete guideline (35.9%).

Spain has received a total of 21,109,635 doses of vaccines (22% of those it has acquired so far). For the moment 12.8 million doses of Pfizer BioNTech have been administered, 4.29 million of AstraZeneca, 0.77 million from Moderna and 0.17 million from Janssen.

Incidence continues to decline

According to the report published this Thursday by the Ministry of Health, the total number of people infected by COVID-19 has increased by 7,960 and 160 new deaths have been registeredTherefore, the official death toll since the beginning of the pandemic amounts to 78,726.

Regarding the accumulated incidence at the national level, it has dropped to 202.20 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days, which represents a decrease of 3.32 points compared to yesterday’s data.
