Geriatric of horror: they tied the grandparents and gave them food and expired medicines

There are situations that could not be imagined even by the most wicked mind. However, a nursing home located in the southern part of Greater Buenos Aires was the scene of horror.

About 14 grandparents were victims of mistreatment by local staff. Older adults were tied to chairs so that they did not “get in the way” inside the place, according to official sources.

The elderly will be transferred to medical centers or the homes of their relatives, to avoid falling back into the hands of these perverts. Some of the victims claimed that they were systematically beaten.

Buenos Aires Police personnel arrived at the scene after an anonymous complaint. Members of the Quilmes Police Station, UFI 6 and municipal agents participated in the search of the nursing home located in La Guarda 621.

Overdue remedies, shabby merchandise, and outrageous overcrowding

To the aberrant mistreatment, we had to add the condition in which the retirees found themselves. They lived in an “overcrowded” place, as can be read in the police report.

Also, there were only two rooms – arranged as such – and in each of them there were four beds. A garage was also searched, functioning as a makeshift room with six bunk beds (with tiny foam mattresses).

Buenos Aires Police personnel also seized food in poor condition and expired medicines. Likewise, they took the medical records of the grandparents.
