The National Police have arrested a warden of the Ramón y Cajal Hospital in Madrid for providing cocaine and allegedly raping twice an adolescent who was admitted to the Psychiatry Unit, a spokeswoman for the Madrid Police Headquarters reported.

The events allegedly took place on the nights of Thursday, April 29 and Saturday, May 1. A caretaker, Spanish from 37 years, temporarily hired to watch over the Psychiatry Unit, had gained the confidence of that intern, a Spanish from 18 years, of which he already had his mobile number. He would talk to her and offer her first tobacco and then cocaine and then sexually abuse her.

In fact, on Saturday the nurses found a lighter and remnants of a whitish substance on the inmate’s nightstand, which generated strong suspicions, for which they asked what had happened. After many detours, the young woman confessed that the night watchman had given her narcotic substances and had forced him to perform acts of a sexual nature.

Finally, the Ramón y Cajal hospital reported the events to the National Police and the agents of the Family and Women’s Care Unit (UFAM) arrested the alleged perpetrator on Monday, May 3 at four in the afternoon. Tomorrow, Thursday, it will go to court.
