Retirees reject pension payment at UMA; "we want a decent life"

In an interview, Lucio Justo and José González Figueroa, teachers and members of the movement, reported that last Wednesday they requested, in an open letter to President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, a hearing to address the pending issues in the total repeal of the Peñista educational reform, the reinstatement of 32 educators and the need for “To guarantee that every worker who gave his effort to the country can have a peaceful old age.”

Therefore, they reiterated that the demand is that the necessary actions be carried out so that the payment of pensions and retirements in minimum wages is made and not in UMA, as approved by the Court.
