Mexican Patricio O'Ward wins for the first time in the Indycar

O’Ward, 21, took the lead of the event by spectacularly passing American Josef Newgarden. From that moment on, he did not get off his head in the 24 laps that remained to the end.

Newgarden took second place and Graham Rahal third, while Spaniard Alex Palou finished in seventh place.

On Saturday, O’Ward had already finished third in the first of two consecutive races at Fort Worth, in which New Zealander Scott Dixon won.
